Massage Therapy Policies

Massage Therapy Policies

1. Arrival to Your Massage

Please arrive at least 5-10 minutes before your scheduled appointment time. This allows time for filling out an intake form, changing, and preparing for the service. Early arrival ensures a relaxed and unhurried experience.

2. Late Arrival Policy

Late arrivals may not receive an extension of their scheduled appointments. If you anticipate being late, please call the office to inform us. Your service will be shortened to maintain the schedule, and no refunds will be given.

3. Cancellation Policy

Please provide at least 2 hours’ notice if you need to reschedule or cancel a treatment. This respects the therapist’s time and allows other clients to book available slots.

4. No Show Policy

Unanticipated events happen. If you cannot keep your appointment, please call to notify us. Clients who fail to show up without any notice will be blocked from future bookings.

5. Scope of Practice

We are licensed professionals adhering to the highest standards set by the Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals (ABMP). We don’t diagnose or prescribe for medical conditions and may refer you to a medical doctor if necessary. Our services are not a substitute for medical attention.

6. Respect for Client Needs, Boundaries, and Right to Reject Service

We’re happy to adjust the pressure, temperature, or music volume or focus on specific areas upon your request. You may choose to leave on as much clothing as needed for comfort, refuse any massage methods, or stop the massage within the first 15 minutes without charge. The session will be terminated if any inappropriate behavior occurs, and the client will be responsible for full payment.

7. Existing and New Medical Conditions

Clients must keep us informed of any ongoing medical treatments and provide written permission from their physician if necessary. Prenatal massages are only available after the first trimester (twelve weeks).

8. Minors/Children

To maintain a serene atmosphere, please avoid bringing minors to the spa. We will only perform massages on minors older than 16 with signed consent from a parent or legal guardian, who must be present before, during, and after the session.

9. Couples Massage Sessions

Couples massages don’t need to be the same service but must be of the same duration. Specify if you want a couples massage when booking to ensure we reserve two spots at the same time. If booking online, book two separate appointments. Our team will confirm your booking.

10. Valuable Items

Please refrain from bringing jewelry and personal belongings to the spa, as they’re not needed during the session. Do not leave such items in treatment areas.

11. What to Wear

We provide fully clothed services during traditional Thai massage sessions. For other sessions, we provide robes, towels, and blankets. Feel free to ask our staff for additional items if needed.

12. Gift Certificates

Gift certificates are available.
